Johnny Tocco's Gym
The mural apparently includes every boxer that ever held a title or paid his locker fee at Johnny Tocco's gym in Las Vegas. There's Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and 36 other boxers. The late Johnny Tocco is depicted standing at the center, white haired, chomping a cigar, and giving drivers along Charleston Boulevard a "thumbs up." Johnny Tocco's Boxing Gym is real, still operating, still not air conditioned -- "Training Champions Since 1953." The amazing street mural was painted by trainer/artist Maynard Roberts.
